Description

The multiple layers of hand-woven T800 carbon are layered ‘over the top of’ the ‘normal’ Michram Industries carbon rims, which give them ‘that little extra strength and stiffness’, which was also an initial request from Caroline.

The rims are then finished with multiple layers of hand woven T800 carbon fiber and bound together with a 255 degree high tg resin to give them Optimal strength and stiffness compared with other rims on the market.

Features

Extra carbon over the standard. Layers of hand woven T800 carbon go over the top of the normal Michram rim for extra strength and stiffness.
Built to Caroline's request. The extra stiffness came from an initial request by Caroline, so it is a rider led change rather than a badge.
300 grams on the scales. It still comes in at 300 grams, which is light for a rim carrying extra layers of carbon.
30mm wide, 30mm deep. A square 30mm by 30mm profile supports the tyre and resists flex when you load the wheel in a turn.
High tg resin bond. The carbon layers are bound with a 255 degree high tg resin to hold them together under heat and load.
