Description

The Onyx X Spectre Sunset is a 20 inch wheelset built in house by LUXBMX. Spectre NME carbon fibre rims are laced to Onyx Helix and Ultra SS hubs with Spectre V2 titanium spokes and Pillar DSN series aluminium nipples.

The rims are made from Toray T800 carbon, which is where the low weight comes from: 1420g for the set, not including disc rotor, cog or thru bolt. The hubs come set up for 20mm thru-bolts and can be converted to a 15mm thru-bolt or 10mm bolt up on request. They take ONYX Ultra SS cogs only, sold separately.

Features
  • Built here at LUXBMX. Laced in house from Spectre NME carbon rims, Onyx hubs, Spectre V2 titanium spokes and Pillar DSN series aluminium nipples.
  • Toray T800 carbon rims. Premium Toray T800 carbon makes these some of the lightest rims going while keeping the durability you need on track.
  • Onyx Helix and Ultra SS hubs. Onyx is the hub choice for top level racing, and both the Helix and the Ultra SS are built into this set.
  • 20mm thru-bolts, or converted. The hubs come set up for 20mm thru-bolts, and we can convert them to a 15mm thru-bolt or 10mm bolt up on request.
  • 1420g for the set. That figure is without disc rotor, cog or thru bolt, none of which are included in the box.
