Description

Pride have released a premium aluminium rim for those not yet jumping on the carbon bandwagon. Manufactured from super strong 6069-T6 aluminium, they have a rim for every race bike and because V-brakes are so last decade, these rims have no braking surface meaning that your race bike is a disc set up. 

This Pride Helium model is the expert rim, which is narrower than the Pro rim and designed to take smaller 20x1.40 - 20x1.60 tyres. Lighter than most carbon rims out on the market yet, they are still strong with a double-walled construction.

  • 6069-T6 aluminium build. A premium aluminium rim manufactured from super strong 6069-T6, for riders not yet jumping on the carbon bandwagon.
  • No braking surface. There is no V-brake compatibility on this rim, so your race bike needs to be a disc setup.
  • Expert width for skinny tyres. Narrower than the Pro rim at 25mm wide, designed to take 20x1.40 to 20x1.60 tyres.
  • 264g, double walled. Lighter than most carbon rims on the market yet still strong thanks to the double wall construction.
  • 36 hole, Presta valve. Drilled 36 hole with a Presta valve hole, ERD 382.6mm, no eyelets.
