Description

Pride have released a premium aluminium rim for those not yet jumping on the carbon bandwagon. Manufactured from super strong 6069-T6 aluminium, they have a rim for every race bike and because V-brakes are so last decade, these rims have no braking surface meaning that your race bike is a disc set up. 

This Pride Helium model is the Pro rim and at 343g, are among the lightest rim available for the big rigs. Lighter than most carbon rims out on the market yet, they are still strong with a double-walled construction. 

Features
  • Built for disc setups. There is no machined braking surface, so this rim suits a disc brake race bike and will not run V-brakes.
  • 6069-T6 aluminium. Super strong aluminium keeps the weight right down without giving up the strength a race wheel needs.
  • Double walled, no eyelets. Double wall construction holds spoke tension and keeps the rim true under race loads.
  • 36 hole, 20 inch. ETRTO 24-406 with 36 spoke holes, so it laces up to a standard 36 hole race hub.
  • Drilled for Presta valves. Presta valve hole, 28mm wide and 19mm deep, with an ERD of 382.6mm for working out spoke lengths.
