Their 4 pawl design ensures that at least 2 pawls are engaged at all times, meaning that when you apply power to the pedals, it is instantly transformed into power at the rear wheel, unlike lesser hubs that take a quarter to a half a crank's worth of rotation to engage.

Features

Fits Profile and Madera hubs. Compatible with Profile Mini, Totem and High Flange hubs, Madera V2 cassette hubs and Classic MTB single speed hubs.
For 12T and larger cogs. This driver takes a separate cog of 12 tooth or bigger. The 9T, 10T and 11T versions are smaller one piece drivers.
Four pawl engagement. The 4 pawl design ensures at least two pawls are engaged at all times, so pedal input becomes power at the wheel.
No wasted crank rotation. Lesser hubs can take a quarter to half a crank of rotation before they engage, this one goes instantly.
Sold as the driver only. Pawls and springs are not included, and neither are the cog, lockring and spacer, so reuse yours or get them separately.
