Description

The Promax P-1 is a linear pull, long pull BMX brake built around cold forged 6061-T6 aluminium alloy arms, balancing strength, durability and performance.

It carries 35 millimetres of vertical brake pad adjustment, about 30 percent more than most linear pull brakes, which makes lining the pads up on the rim much easier. Pads attach by threaded post, it weighs 203g, and it comes in black, blue, gold and silver.

Features
  • Cold forged 6061-T6 arms. Forged aluminium alloy arms keep the brake light at 203g while standing up to race use.
  • 35mm of pad adjustment. That is about 30 percent more vertical adjustment than most linear pull brakes, so setting the pads is easier.
  • Long pull actuation. Designed for long pull levers, so pair it with the matching lever to get the full braking power.
  • Threaded post pads. Pads attach on a threaded post, which makes swapping in a fresh set straightforward.
  • Four colours. Available in black, blue, gold and silver to suit the rest of your build.
