Description

The Promax RMV is a simple 451mm alloy rim built around low weight, strength and speed. Alloy 451 rims are getting harder to find, so this is a straightforward option for a 20 x 1-1/8 or 1-3/8 race wheel.

It is drilled 28 hole, made from 6061-T6 aluminium and uses a sleeved joint. There is no brake track on it, so it is for disc use only.

Features
  • 451mm alloy race rim. ISO 451 sizing for 20 x 1-1/8 and 1-3/8 race tyres, in 6061-T6 aluminium at 256g.
  • Thicker inner wall. The thicker inner wall lets the wheel be built tighter and stronger when it is laced up.
  • Disc use only. There is no brake track on this rim, so rim brakes are out: plan on running a disc.
  • 28 hole drilling. Drilled 28 hole with a manufacturer ERD of 439mm, so you will need a matching hub and the right spoke lengths.
  • Sleeved joint, Schrader drilled. The RMV uses a sleeved joint and takes a standard Schrader valve, set up for clincher tyres.
