A basic puncture repair kit with the bits you need to patch a tube and get the tyre back on the rim. Inside you get two nylon tyre levers, one tube of rubber solution, five patches and a piece of sandpaper.

It is the sort of kit worth keeping in a bag or a toolbox rather than hunting for parts one at a time. Scuff the tube with the sandpaper, glue the patch on, lever the tyre back over the rim and you are riding again.
