Description

The crème de la crème of 26" bikes, the Griffin Pro is built around a super light and stiff 6061-T6 alloy frame, fitted with RST forks and a premium parts package from Race Face and Maxxis.

A vicious unit that packs a real punch, this blacked out machine is an unstoppable partner for the rider who wants a bike of no compromises.

Features
  • Light and stiff alloy frame. Hydroformed and butted 6061-T6 tubing with a tapered head tube and forged yoke gives a frame that stays precise when you push it.
  • Race Face Aeffect cranks and sprocket. Alloy 170mm cranks with a 28T Aeffect sprocket put premium parts and a taller gear where the power goes in.
  • SRAM hydraulic disc at the rear. A SRAM Db-lvl-A1 hydraulic rear brake with a Tektro Aries mechanical front, both on 160mm rotors, keeps speed under control.
  • Sealed Pro Dj wheels, 32 hole. A 15mm alloy through axle firms up the front end, laced to sleeved double wall DB-T25 rims with a sealed 10T cassette driver.
  • Premium finishing kit. A Race Face Chester 35 stem, 35mm Griffin bars, Maxxis rubber and a fat padded Century pivotal seat round out the blacked out build.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.
