Description

The Helium Cruiser has built a following, and Radio is stoked to have it back in the line-up. They took the aftermarket Helium Cruiser frame, hydroformed 6061 T6 alloy with a tapered head tube and forged dropouts, and matched it to a Cr-Mo fork with a butted 1-1/8" steerer and 30mm offset.

From there it is a full pro parts package. Radio's own aftermarket Argon Pro rims run on CNC alloy Xenon hubs, a 180mm Xenon Pro two-piece crank turns a 41T sprocket into an 18T sealed driver, and Promax and Tioga parts round out a 24" machine with no limits.

Features
  • Aftermarket Helium Cruiser frame. Hydroformed 6061 T6 alloy with a tapered head tube and forged dropouts, the same frame Radio sells on its own, spec'd here as a complete.
  • Full Cr-Mo fork up front. A butted 1-1/8" steerer, Cr-Mo legs and 30mm offset put the strength where the front end takes the biggest hits.
  • Tall 41T to 18T gearing. Xenon Pro two-piece cranks at 180mm on a 24mm spindle drive a 41T alloy sprocket into a sealed 18T cassette driver.
  • Sealed bearings through the build. The Radio Pro integrated headset, sealed BSA24 external bottom bracket and fully sealed Xenon hubs keep everything spinning with less fuss.
  • Radio Argon Pro rims. Radio's own aftermarket rims laced to CNC alloy hubs, with a Promax alloy rear brake and lever and Tioga rubber.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.
