Description

Building upon their ever increasing successes, the Radio Xenon range is solidifying itself as a trusted mid level complete race bike. The Radio Xenon Pro XL Bike (comes with an array of race winning components, including disc brake ready dropouts. The frame is manufactured from hydro-formed 6061-T6 alloy, with forks fully built from chromoly, from the steerer tube, to the fork legs. Sealed bottom bracket and hubs keep maintenance down to a minimum, while quality Radio Raceline and Promax components are fitted across the bike. Giving you the best possible winning combination.

The Pro and Pro XL Xenon bikes are the ideal entry level Pro bikes for the growing racer, with younger racers usually skipping sizes, going from a Expert bike to a Pro, or Expert XL to a Pro XL. The Xenon range provides you with the options to make this choice possible and to ensure your racer ends up on the correct size race rig.

Features

  • Longer 21.25" top tube. The XL front end and 14.8" rear give a taller racer room to move and stability at speed.
  • Alloy frame with tapered head tube. Hydroformed 6061-T6 with forged, disc brake ready dropouts and internal chain tensioners, paired with a full chromoly fork.
  • 180mm 2-piece cranks. Cold forged and CNC machined Xenon Pro arms on a 24mm spindle turn a 44x16 gear through sealed external bearings.
  • Disc brake ready rear hub. The 36T sealed disc cassette hub and forged dropouts mean brakes and wheels can be upgraded later.
  • Radio Oxygen tyres on Argon Pro rims. A 1.75" front and 1.6" rear on 36H alloy rims give grip in the corners and speed down the straights.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.

Rather have it done? Ask us about extra assembly before you order, or any local bike shop can finish the build for a small fee.

Heights overlap between classes on purpose. Where you land in two, a growing rider is usually better on the larger, and a rider who wants the bike to turn faster on the smaller. Some brands label the Pro size Pro L, with the same fit.

How to measure

Stand your rider against a wall in the shoes they ride in, heels flat, and mark the top of their head. Measure from the floor to the mark.

  • Between two sizes and still growing? Take the larger size.
  • Racing gates and wanting the bike to turn faster? Take the smaller size.
  • Top tube is the number that actually changes the fit, so compare it against the bike they ride now.

Not sure? Send us their height and we will tell you what we would put them on.
