Description

Throw it back with one of these sweet looking rigs from Redline. Built to perfection with loads of great parts and features. This bikes styling will definitely get heads turning! The Redline RL-275 is in a category of its own. This BMX bike for adults looks like a classic BMX cruiser, until you take a gander at the Tektro mechanical disc brakes and those ultra fat 3-inch wide tires mounted on 27.5 Plus size rims. The Vee Speedster tires roll fast and grip the corners on both pavement and dirt. They also give you some float if you decide to take a short-cut down a staircase or cruise on the beach. With retro graphics and a V-style handlebar, the RL-275 gives you an old-school look with new-school spec.

Features

Cruiser looks, 3 inch plus tyres. Vee Speedster 27.5 x 3.0 tyres on alloy DDM-7 plus rims roll fast and grip the corners on both pavement and dirt.
Tektro mechanical disc brakes. MD-M300 mechanical discs with ML520 levers, front and rear disc hubs and a full chromoly disc fork.
Float for stairs and sand. The extra tyre volume gives you float if you decide to take a short cut down a staircase or cruise the beach.
Classic Flight cranks, 180mm. Dual pinch chromoly cranks with a chrome finish and retro decal, turning an alloy 33T sprocket in a sealed Euro bottom bracket.
Old school look, new school spec. Chromoly double bend crossbar at 5.5" rise and 29" wide with Monster 151 grips, all on a 6061 alloy frame.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.
