Stand up for Edwin De La Rosa, an iconic BMX street legend. The S&M BTM XL (Edwin De La Rosa Colourway) is made in the USA and is the signature frame of Mike Hoder, up-sized with an extra long 5″ head tube and taller 9.5″ standover height. The crew at S&M had to offer the homie Edwin his own signature colourway of his good friend Mikes's frame, and he didn't disappoint.

Features

Mike Hoder's BTM, up-sized. The BTM XL takes the signature street frame and stretches it with an extra long 5" head tube and a taller 9.50" standover height.
Butted Thermal-X tubeset. S&M's butted tubing brings the whole frame in at 5.4 lb (2.45 kg) without losing the street frame feel.
14mm 4Q-Baked dropouts. Laser sharp 14mm slots with S&M's 4Q-Baked treatment, and a rear end that adjusts from 13.05" to 13.50".
Street geometry, 75° head tube. A 75° head angle, 71° seat angle and 11.5" bottom bracket height, in top tubes from 20.6" through to 21.5".
Made in the USA. Thread-on 990 brake mounts are sold separately and there are no gyro tabs, so it stays clean if you ride brakeless.

Top Tube Length - 21.25

Frames are sized by top tube length. Start with your height, then let riding style decide where in the range you land.

The height bands overlap on purpose. If you land in two of them, riding style breaks the tie: longer for flow, trails and transitions, shorter for technical street and park. Plenty of riders, pros included, deliberately ride longer than a chart suggests.

How to measure

Top tube is measured from the centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube, so it is not the length of the tube you can see. Measure your current frame that way and compare.

Size up for stability through trails and transitions.
Size down if you want the bike quick and twitchy for spins and grinds.
Top tube is fixed once you buy, but chainstay length, stem length, fork offset and bar position all change how the built bike feels.
