Description

Salt's Logo Rim Tape is a heavy duty nylon rim strip, here in the 18 inch size. It lays into the rim bed and covers the spoke holes before you fit the tube.

At 24mm wide it gives the tube maximum protection from spoke ends and any burs left in the rim, and the whole strip only adds 55g.

Features
  • Heavy duty nylon. Nylon holds its shape in the rim bed, so the strip stays where you put it instead of creeping around the rim.
  • 24mm wide. That much coverage across the rim bed keeps the tube well clear of the spoke holes.
  • Maximum tube protection. It shields the tube from spoke ends and any burs left in the rim, which is where plenty of flats start.
