A wider forged alloy U-brake from Salt, made so the arms clear tyres up to 2.30". If you have gone up to a fatter tyre and your old brake no longer sits right, this is the shape that fixes it.

It is designed by Salt in 6061-T6 alloy and works front or rear, and it arrives ready to run as a front brake. Brake pads and all the required hardware are in the box, and it weighs 180g.

Features

Clears 2.30 inch tyres. The wider arms are made to work with tyres up to 2.30", so a fat front tyre still fits between them.
Front and rear compatible. You can run it at either end of the bike, and it comes ready for use as a front brake.
Forged 6061-T6 alloy. Forged alloy arms keep the brake stiff so lever effort goes into the pads instead of flexing the calliper.
Pads and hardware included. Brake pads plus all the bolts and required hardware come with it, so nothing else is needed to fit it.
180 grams. Light enough that adding a brake back onto the bike is not a weight penalty you will notice.
