Description

A tough street chain with thicker links for longer life. It is steel with a chromized treatment, type Z510 HX.

The size is 1/2" x 1/8", with very strong pins and plates and a Salt logo embossed into the links. Weight is 400g.

Features
  • Thicker links for street. The links are built thicker than usual, which Salt list as the reason it lasts longer under street riding.
  • Chromized steel construction. Steel with a chromized treatment, type Z510 HX, so the chain has a hard surface to wear against.
  • 1/2" x 1/8" sizing. The standard single speed BMX size, so it suits 1/8 inch sprockets and cogs.
  • Very strong pins and plates. Salt build it light for the size while keeping the pins and plates strong under load.
  • Weighs 400g. A stated 400g, with the Salt logo embossed into the links.
