Description

The Salt Rookie front wheel is a complete replacement front wheel for 18 inch bikes, built around Salt's wider 35mm beam rim. The rim is single wall alloy with straight sidewalls, and rim tape is included.

Up front is the Salt Rookie hub, a low flange alloy hub running loose ball bearings on a 3/8 inch axle. Check your fork dropouts take a 3/8 inch axle before you order.

Wider 35mm beam rim. The Salt beam rim is single wall alloy with straight sidewalls and a wider 35mm profile, giving your tyre a solid base.
Built for 18 inch bikes. Laced as a complete 18 inch front wheel, so it drops into a smaller frame without you building anything.
3/8 inch front axle. The Rookie hub runs a 3/8 inch axle, so check your fork dropouts take that size before ordering.
Low flange alloy hub. The alloy hub shell runs loose ball bearings, which are simple to strip, clean and repack at home.
Rim tape included. Comes with rim tape, so you can fit a tube and tyre straight away without another trip to the shop.
