SD BB30 Bottom Bracket Kit / Blue / 24mm

Description

This is SD Race Components' BB30 bottom bracket kit for frames with a 42mm bottom bracket shell, including 2018 and later Meybo frames and other brands running BB30. The bearing design is BMX specific, and the bearings are held in forged, CNC machined aluminium cups that ride on the outside of the shell for more durability.

Two versions are available. The 24mm version suits SD Expert Lite, Pro and Pro Hollow cranks as well as Shimano, Rhythm, Bombshell and other cranks using a 24mm spindle. The 30mm through type suits cranks with a 30mm axle, but it does not work with Box Two M30 cranksets. Either version weighs 128g.

Features

Fits 42mm BB30 shells. Made for frames with a 42mm bottom bracket shell, including 2018 and later Meybo frames and other BB30 brands.
Pick 24mm or 30mm. Choose the version that matches your cranks, either a 24mm spindle or a 30mm through type axle.
Cups sit outside the shell. Forged and CNC machined aluminium cups hold the bearings outside the BB shell, which makes for a more durable setup.
BMX specific bearing design. The bearings are chosen for BMX loads rather than borrowed from a road or mountain bike bottom bracket.
Suits common 24mm cranks. The 24mm version fits SD Expert Lite, Pro and Pro Hollow cranks plus Shimano, Rhythm and Bombshell.
