Description

The Shadow Conspiracy Linear Cable runs linear style housing instead of the usual coiled type. Linear housing does not compress under lever load, so the braking feel is stiffer and the cable resists kinking when you route it around the bars.

The housing is 5mm, Teflon lined and 50 inches long, running over a 1.6mm Teflon coated inner wire so the action stays smooth. Alloy ferrules finish the ends.

Features

Linear housing, stiffer feel. Linear style housing does not squash under load like coiled housing, so more of your lever pull reaches the brake.
Resists kinking. Holds its shape through tight routing, so you are not fighting a bent cable every time you turn the bars.
Teflon lined 5mm housing. The Teflon lining cuts friction between wire and housing, which keeps the lever feeling light through the pull.
1.6mm Teflon coated inner. A coated inner wire slides cleanly inside the housing and keeps the brake action consistent run after run.
Alloy ferrules. Metal ferrules at the ends stand up to being pulled about far better than the plastic ones that come on cheap cables.
