The Shadow Optimized Freecoaster Hub is a black BMX hub featuring multiple spoke holes, dual axle bolts, a visible bearing system, and is compatible with a plastic hub guard.

Description

The Shadow Optimized Freecoaster is built for rolling backwards with confidence. Inside, a more reliable bushing resistance system replaces the old setup and dissolves the engagement issues freecoasters are known for.

The non-drive side was designed completely around grinding. A smaller hub flange stays out of the way, and the included plastic non-drive side hub guard slides over the existing cone, so fitting it is simple. Available left or right hand drive in 36 hole.

Features

Bushing resistance system. A more reliable bushing system inside dissolves previous engagement issues, so the freecoaster feel stays consistent.
Hub guard included. The integrated plastic non-drive side guard slides straight over the existing cone, so there is nothing extra to buy or fight with.
Designed around grinding. A smaller non-drive flange lets the guard stay compact while still covering what needs covering on a ledge.
14mm hollow cro-mo axle. A male 14mm hollow chromoly axle and a 9T one piece CNC cro-mo driver, in 36 hole drilling.
Left or right hand drive. Pick the drive side to suit how you ride, with sealed cartridge bearings in both the driver and the hub shell.
