Maybe you couldn't afford graphite Tuffs back in the day, but you sure can now, so treat yoself!

These are the ridgy didge thing manufactured by the original company. No imitations here my friend, we know what we got. Reinforced with a Graphite Composite, these wheels are stiffer with less flex over the Zytel Nylon material and also slightly lighter.

9 Tooth Driver.

Features
  • 9 tooth cassette driver. A 9T driver runs small gearing straight out of the box, no freewheel or adaptors involved.
  • 14mm rear axle. Suits frames with 14mm dropouts, with a 3/8 inch axle up front.
  • Graphite composite shell. Stiffer with less flex than the Zytel nylon Tuffs, and slightly lighter as well.
  • Sealed bearings. Sealed bearings front and rear keep grit out of the hubs.
  • Flanged gold rivet front hub. The gold rivet detail is the real thing from the original company, made in the USA.

  • Note: Because of the rim and bead profile, tyres can be very hard to seat evenly on Skyway Tuff wheels. A small amount of play in the bearing assembly is normal across all Skyway sealed bearing wheels, and moulded plastic wheels vary in trueness, edging, colour and consistency.
