Description

New colours for the Speedco M2 Alloy Disc frames bring a fresh update and confirm that the V-brake is dead. Speedco has ditched the brake post mounts on the seat stay to produce a alloy frame that has a sleek clean look befit of a BMX race frame of the modern era.

With geometry that mimics the Velox carbon frames, the Pro disc frames are manufactured from 7005 series aluminium that is heat treated and double butted for weight reduction and increased strength. The down tube is tapered and wider at the bottom bracket to provide increased stiffness in this critical area.

Features of the M2 disc frame include a seamless integrated chain tensioner system and internal cable routing from front of top-tube to mid seat-stay exiting right at the brake caliper, keeping the hydraulic hose protected as possible.

Pro XXXXL, 22.5" top tube. The longest 20" size in the M2 Pro range, one of eight sizes that also covers two 24" cruisers.
Double butted 7005 aluminium. Heat treated tubing that cuts weight and adds strength, with a tapered down tube that widens at the bottom bracket for stiffness.
Universal 10/15/20mm dropouts. Axle blocks for all three sizes come with the frame, so it takes whatever race wheelset you already have.
Post mount disc, 120mm rotor. Works with post mount disc brakes and 120mm discs, with the mounts for 10 and 15mm included and the 20mm mount sold separately.
Press-fit BB86 and tapered head tube. A press-fit BB86 shell and a 1-1/8" to 1.5" tapered head tube, matched to modern race cranks and forks.
