Description

The Rose Pedal is Subrosa's answer to plastic pedals wearing out from grinds. Nothing on the market did the job, so they added 5mm of extra material to one side of the body to create a dedicated grind side: a smooth, flat surface with no pins that lasts longer than a standard plastic pedal, and makes it easier to keep a grind side and a grip side.

The other side stays concave and knurled with 12 pins for traction. The body is injection moulded nylon composite turning on a heat treated 4140 chromoly broached spindle, measuring 99mm long by 98mm wide, 24mm thick and 26mm at the bearing cover, with 3.5mm pins. Sold as a pair.

  • Dedicated grind side. One side is flat with no pins and 5mm of extra material, so the body survives pedal grinds longer than standard plastic.
  • Concave grip side, 12 pins. The other side stays concave and knurled with twelve 3.5mm pins, holding your feet where you put them.
  • Chromoly broached spindle. A heat treated 4140 chromoly spindle sits inside the nylon composite body, so the strong part is where the load goes.
  • 99 x 98mm platform. A solid area to plant your foot on, at 24mm thick and 26mm at the bearing cover.
  • Sold as a pair. Comes as a pair at 14.8 oz, so one order sorts both sides of the bike.
