Description

The Darkwave is Broc Raiford's signature frame, built 100% from 4130 chromoly with Sunday's dent-resistant Wave down tube. The double-butted 1.45" down tube uses that Wave shaping to fight dents from a rail, ledge, coping or whatever else gets thrown at it.

Broc's preference in geometry gives it a 75.25° head tube angle to keep the front end responsive, with a slammed 13.25" chainstay and a 9.25" standover for a balance of pop and stability. An integrated seat clamp, tapered stays and integrated chain tensioners keep it looking clean, and the u-brake hardware and gyro tabs are removable.

  • Broc Raiford signature geometry. A 75.25° head tube angle keeps the front end responsive, while the slammed 13.25" chainstay and 9.25" standover balance pop and stability.
  • Wave down tube fights dents. The double-butted 1.45" down tube is shaped to shrug off contact with rails, ledges and coping that would weaken a plain round tube.
  • Full 4130 chromoly build. A butted seat tube and miter cut top tube reinforce the junction where all three triangles of the frame meet.
  • Brakes when you want them. Removable u-brake hardware and gyro tabs bolt on when you need them and disappear when you don't.
  • Clean, considered details. An integrated seat clamp, tapered chain and seat stays and integrated chain tensioners keep the frame tidy without adding bulk.
