Description

One of BMX racing's most trusted products! Sun has been manufacturing these double walled alloy rims for years and haven't had to mess with the formula. Made from 6061-T6 aluminium, the Sun Envy rims have nipple eyelets to add strength to this part of the rim. Dependable and great value, these are a popular choice for BMX racers still building wheels with alloy rims.

Features

Front and rear profiles. The front rim runs no braking surface and the rear has braking sidewalls, so choose the one that matches where your brake sits.
20 inch, 406 alloy. 406 x 27mm at the front or 406 x 28mm at the rear, the standard 20 x 1.75 inch size for a BMX race wheel.
Double walled 6061-T6. Double wall 6061-T6 aluminium is the formula Sun have not had to change, which is why racers keep building on them.
36 holes with eyelets. Nipple eyelets add strength where the spokes pull, so the drilling holds up to proper tension.
Schrader valve hole. Drilled for a Schrader A/V valve, which is what most BMX race tubes run.
