Description

One of BMX racing's most trusted products! Sun has been manufacturing these double walled alloy rims for years and haven't had to mess with the formula. Made from 6061-T6 aluminium, the Sun Envy rims have nipple eyelets to add strength to this part of the rim. Dependable and great value, these are a popular choice for BMX racers still building wheels with alloy rims.

Features
  • Front and rear profiles. The front rim runs no braking surface and the rear has braking sidewalls, so choose the one that matches where your brake sits.
  • 20 inch, 406 alloy. 406 x 27mm at the front or 406 x 28mm at the rear, the standard 20 x 1.75 inch size for a BMX race wheel.
  • Double walled 6061-T6. Double wall 6061-T6 aluminium is the formula Sun have not had to change, which is why racers keep building on them.
  • 36 holes with eyelets. Nipple eyelets add strength where the spokes pull, so the drilling holds up to proper tension.
  • Schrader valve hole. Drilled for a Schrader A/V valve, which is what most BMX race tubes run.
