Description

Tangent hit up their top Pros and Am racers to ask them what they thought were the ideal specs for a handlebar and this is what they came back with. A traditional, yet proven sweep of 6 degrees put these bars smack bang in the radar sights of any racer looking for a dependable CrMo race bar. The Tangent Flatiron62 bars are a two piece,13 butted constructed CrMo bar that are heat treated post weld, and have a 16mm crossbar to stiffen them up.

Features
  • Specced by pro racers. Tangent asked their top pro and am racers what the ideal handlebar looked like, and built the FlatIron62 to the answer.
  • Traditional 6 degree sweep. Six degrees of backsweep with 2 degrees of upsweep, a proven shape for racers after a dependable chromoly bar.
  • Two rises, one width. Pick 5.5" or 6.25" of rise, both 29" wide, so you can set your front end where you want it.
  • Butted chromoly, heat treated. A two piece 13 butted CrMo bar that is heat treated after welding, which is where the strength comes from.
  • 16mm crossbar. A thicker 16mm crossbar stiffens the bar up, so it holds its shape when you pull hard out of the gate.
