Description

Wethepeople are always pushing what can be done with a BMX bike, and this year they have released their first-ever 22-inch disk brake-ready bike. Modelled off the popular Chaos Machine frame released in 2022, these big bikes are built with the proven Chaos geometry ready to create Havoc! 

About the Brand
Wethepeople BMX began making its mark on history almost 15 years ago. Designing the first rough drawings of their frames and forks around the same time as the world started to see BMX in a different light, a time when rails were first grinded and the possibility that riding the streets was in fact the true way forward. To achieve their aims, Wethepeople knows exactly how to deploy their strengths with an efficiency that is unmatched in the BMX industry.

Features
  • First 22" disc brake bike from Wethepeople. The Magura MT4 hydraulic disc and 140mm rotor give strong, predictable stopping with very little lever effort.
  • Proven Chaos frame geometry. Modelled on the Chaos Machine frame from 2022, with a 22.25" top tube and 14.35" chainstays.
  • Full 4130 chromoly frame, fork and bars. Chromoly where it counts, so the bigger frame and bigger rider loads are handled without complaint.
  • Fully sealed Éclat wheels. Exile sealed hubs front and rear laced to double wall, sleeved Logic rims, 36 spokes each end.
  • 170mm chromoly 3-piece cranks. Saltplus Ultra TSS cranks in a sealed mid bottom bracket, driving a 30T Exile sprocket and 9T driver.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.
