A Nova is a transient astronomical event that causes the sudden appearance of a bright, apparently "new" star. We are all about that! The Wethepeople Nova 20 Inch BMX Bike is stacked full of epic parts + features that will kick-start your riding career in the best way possible! These new colourways are absolutely divine! Wethepeople put loads of time and effort into making their line-up look the absolute best and we reckon this year they have not disappointed! The 20TT Matt Black Nova comes with Black/white Split Tyre Tread- one side is black, one side is white. This will make your barspins and tailwhips mesmerising to watch. The Nova range features Salt Rookie Tubular Chromoly Three Piece Cranks, Salt Am 20 Forks, Salt Gateway Sprocket, Salt Beam Rims for strength where you need it the most and the Sealed Headset and Sealed Bottom Bracket makes it all run nice and smoothly. The Nova features a super short 12.75” oval chainstay and responsive 26mm offset fork allowing it to not only feel just like the bikes our PRO team ride, but also make it much easier to progress your riding even further.

About the Brand
Wethepeople BMX began making its mark on history almost 15 years ago. Designing the first rough drawings of their frames and forks around the same time as the world started to see BMX in a different light, a time when rails were first grinded and the possibility that riding the streets was in fact the true way forward. To achieve their aims, Wethepeople knows exactly how to deploy their strengths with an efficiency that is unmatched in the BMX industry.

  • Super short 12.75" chainstay. Keeps the back end tight and quick, so the Nova feels much closer to the bikes the Wethepeople pro team ride.
  • Three piece chromoly cranks. Salt Rookie 165mm tubular cranks add strength through the middle of the bike, where a first BMX usually gives up.
  • Sealed headset and bottom bracket. The Salt Pro internal headset and sealed mid BB keep the steering and the cranks running smoothly with less maintenance.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.
