The guys here at the LUXLAB decided it was time to build the best of the best that our friends at BMXInternational could muster. The end result is this absolutely stunning custom bike that is so tecnologically advanced you might think it's magic. We opted for a Wethepeople Paradox frame with a 21 Inch Top Tube in Abyss Green as our start point. These frames are the crème de la crème of Wethepeople's offerings and come with a hydroformed top tube and down tube, investment cast chain stay yoke, a LIFETIME GUARANTEE and so much more. These are basically a Wethepeople Battleship frame with a full technical upgrade- so you can't get much better than that.

On the front end we opted for Eclat's Storm XLT Fork in a striking chrome colour way which includes a LIFETIME GUARANTEE and weighs in at just 898g. For the bars we opted for street magician Jordan Godwin's signature Eclat Chocolate bars in a 9.5 which lined up perfectly with the Wethepeople Index Front Load Stem in 50mm. Not too small, not to tall- the perfect setup for street shredding.

Next up we have Eclat's brand new Shift Freecoaster Rear Hub, a freecoaster/cassette hybrid hub laced up to the incredibly strong Eclat Crown Rim- a Super heavy-duty rim for the most brutal riders in the game. Supporting these rims are the super lightweight Eclat Mirage Folding Tyres in a wide 20 x 2.45" and Eclat Amp Tubes in between. Eclat Centric Pedals link up to to the incredibly strong Eclat Spire Cranks in a short and responsive 160mm and the sprocket is the beefy Eclat Elevate Guard Sprocket in 25T.

About the Brand

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.

A 20 inch bike is the standard adult BMX and suits riders from about 147cm up. At this wheel size the top tube is what changes the fit, so pick that by height.

Sizes overlap on purpose, so personal preference comes into it. If you land in two bands, riding style breaks the tie: longer for flow, trails and transitions, shorter for technical street and park.

How to measure

Stand your rider against a wall in the shoes they ride in, heels flat, and mark the top of their head. Measure from the floor to the mark.

Top tube is measured from the centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube, so it is not the same as the length of the tube you can see.

A 20 inch bike is the standard adult BMX and most riders end up there, so do not size a tall child down to a smaller wheel.
22, 24 and 26 inch bikes are adult bikes with a bigger wheel, not bigger frames for taller riders.
Size up for stability through trails and transitions. Size down if you want the bike quick and twitchy for spins and grinds.
Top tube is fixed, but stem length, fork offset and bar position all shift how roomy the bike feels once you are on it.
