Wethepeople x Eclat Custom

This high-end custom build is a tank,

combining Wethepeople’s progressive geometry with Eclat’s heavy-duty componentry. Built around the signature Tomorrow Frame in a stunning Matt Translucent Secret Blue, this bike is designed for riders who demand both aesthetic precision and technical durability.

The Wethepeople Tomorrow Frame (21" TT), paired with Eclat Storm TA Forks utilising a Thru-Axle system for extra strength, features an OS (Oversized) 25.4mm setup, utilizing the Eclat Domain Front Load Stem to securely clamp the Wethepeople Pathfinder Barbwire 4-Piece Bars. This oversized interface significantly reduces bar slip during heavy landings.

This is a one-of-a-kind build!

About the Brand

Wethepeople BMX began making its mark on history almost 15 years ago. Designing the first rough drawings of their frames and forks around the same time as the world started to see BMX in a different light, a time when rails were first grinded and the possibility that riding the streets was in fact the true way forward. To achieve their aims, Wethepeople knows exactly how to deploy their strengths with an efficiency that is unmatched in the BMX industry.

Features

  • One-off custom, built heavy. Wethepeople's progressive geometry combined with Eclat's heavy duty componentry, put together as a one of a kind build.
  • Thru-axle front and rear. Eclat Storm TA forks with Cortex TA front and Shift TA hybrid rear hubs add strength where the wheels meet the bike.
  • Oversized 25.4mm bar clamp. The Eclat Domain OS front load stem clamps the Pathfinder Barbwire 4-piece bars, which significantly reduces bar slip during heavy landings.
  • Four Eclat Venom XLT pegs. A 4.5" peg on each corner, backed by an AK Guard 25T sprocket and Eclat Diesel chain.
  • Matt Translucent Secret Blue. A 21" Tomorrow frame in translucent blue against an all black parts kit, chrome Bondi rims and 2.4" Decoder tyres.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.

Rather have it done? Ask us about extra assembly before you order, or any local bike shop can finish the build for a small fee.

20 inch BMX sizing

A 20 inch bike is the standard adult BMX and suits riders from about 147cm up. At this wheel size the top tube is what changes the fit, so pick that by height.

160cm and up26"22 to 23"

Sizes overlap on purpose, so personal preference comes into it. If you land in two bands, riding style breaks the tie: longer for flow, trails and transitions, shorter for technical street and park.

How to measure

Stand your rider against a wall in the shoes they ride in, heels flat, and mark the top of their head. Measure from the floor to the mark.

Top tube is measured from the centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube, so it is not the same as the length of the tube you can see.

  • A 20 inch bike is the standard adult BMX and most riders end up there, so do not size a tall child down to a smaller wheel.
  • 22, 24 and 26 inch bikes are adult bikes with a bigger wheel, not bigger frames for taller riders.
  • Size up for stability through trails and transitions. Size down if you want the bike quick and twitchy for spins and grinds.
  • Top tube is fixed, but stem length, fork offset and bar position all shift how roomy the bike feels once you are on it.
