The Wethepeople Thrillseeker 20 Inch freestyle BMX bike is a versatile and stylish ride designed for BMX shredders. It's core features include a Hi-Ten frame and Salt Am 20 fork with a 4130 Crmo steerer. The bike boasts Salt Thrillseeker handlebars and Salt Ex flangless grips for superior control and comfort.

About the Brand
Wethepeople BMX began making its mark on history almost 15 years ago. Designing the first rough drawings of their frames and forks around the same time as the world started to see BMX in a different light, a time when rails were first grinded and the possibility that riding the streets was in fact the true way forward. To achieve their aims, Wethepeople knows exactly how to deploy their strengths with an efficiency that is unmatched in the BMX industry.

Features
  • Built for in-between riders. The 19 inch top tube suits kids sizing up from an 18 inch bike, on parts good enough to carry over later.
  • Hi-Ten frame, chromoly steerer fork. The Salt Am 20 fork uses a 4130 Crmo steerer with 26mm offset, putting the stronger material where the loads are highest.
  • Salt Rookie tubular chromoly cranks. 165mm 3-piece cranks on a sealed press fit mid bottom bracket put strong gear where the bike takes the most abuse.
  • Comfortable, controllable cockpit. Salt Thrillseeker bars at 8.25" rise and 27.5" wide, flangeless Salt Ex grips and a sealed Salt Pro integrated headset.
  • Wide 2.25" Salt Strike tyres. Plenty of traction underneath you, wrapped around Salt Rookie single-wall rims laced to Salt Thrillseeker hubs.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.

  • 22, 24 and 26 inch bikes are adult bikes with a bigger wheel, not bigger frames for taller riders.
  • Size up for stability through trails and transitions. Size down if you want the bike quick and twitchy for spins and grinds.
  • Top tube is fixed, but stem length, fork offset and bar position all shift how roomy the bike feels once you are on it.
