Description

The Answer Headset Reducer 1-1/8in to 1in is designed to make 1” steerer tube forks adaptable to a 1-1/8” head tube frame, these headset reducer cups are pressed into the frame and then a 1” headset can be installed to use a 1” steer tube.

Note: This product is for standard 'press in' headsets/head tubes ONLY.

Features

Runs 1 inch forks. Makes a 1" steerer tube fork adaptable to a 1-1/8" head tube frame, so an older fork can go on a newer frame.
Presses into the frame. The reducer cups press into the 1-1/8" head tube and take the place of the standard cups.
Takes a 1 inch headset. Once the cups are in, a 1" headset installs into them to suit your 1" steerer.
Press in head tubes only. This is for standard press in headsets and head tubes, so it will not work with integrated or internal setups.
