Bell Sanction 2 helmet sizing

Bell's chart for the Sanction 2 and Sanction 2 DLX MIPS.

SizeHead circumferenceNotes
XXS48–50cm
XS-S51–55cm
M55–57cm
L57–59cm
XL59–61cm

Sizes meet at 55, 57 and 59cm: on a boundary, take the larger size.

How to measure

Wrap a soft tape measure around the widest part of your head, about 2.5cm above your eyebrows and just above your ears. Keep it level and snug but not tight, and read the number in centimetres.

No tape measure? Use a piece of string or a shoelace, mark where it meets, then measure the string against a ruler.

Between two sizes? Most helmet brands recommend the larger size and using the thicker set of pads. A helmet should feel snug all round with no pressure points, and shouldn't rock when you shake your head.
