Description

A freecoaster that feels like a cassette hub: the same weight, the same pedal gap and the same sound. The BSD Revolution uses a planetary clutch system that works in a different way to the heavyweight cone style clutch, and it was tested for two years before release.

That design makes it 30 per cent lighter than conventional freecoaster hubs, with no gap when pedalling forward and no unwanted engagement on rollbacks. Low axial load means it does not need oversized hub bearings, and it runs a hollow male 14mm chromoly axle with BSD hub guards included.

Features

Feels like a cassette hub. The planetary clutch leaves no gap when you pedal forward, so it picks up like a cassette rather than a freecoaster.
30 per cent lighter. Thirty per cent lighter than conventional freecoaster hubs, which takes real weight out of the back wheel.
Hollow 14mm chromoly axle. A tough male 14mm axle, so it bolts into frames running 14mm dropouts.
No unwanted rollback engagement. The clutch design stops the hub grabbing on rollbacks, so it stays predictable when you roll back in.
Hub guards included. BSD hub guards come with the hub, and low axial load means no oversized hub bearings are needed.
