Chris King is back in BMX racing and this custom build pairs their redesigned race hubs with Spectre's NME carbon rims and Grade 5 titanium spokes. The front hub runs a one-piece hardened alloy axle, wide flange placement and the same large diameter made-in-house LD bearings as Chris King's MTB hubs, while the rear uses a one-piece hardened stainless axle, canted flanges, a 6-bolt rotor mount and the patented RingDrive with 72 simultaneously interfaced points of contact for quick engagement, with the 36T RingDrive available if you'd rather less drag and a higher top speed. The NME rims took almost two years of development and testing with elite race and freestyle riders, coming in at 35mm wide, 22mm deep and 280g, and the V3 titanium spokes are around 40% lighter than stainless, which is roughly 150 grams off your rotational weight. Chris King hubs are Engineered, manufactured and assembled in Portland, Oregon, and backed by the King Lifetime Warranty.
