Description

When it comes to BMX balance bikes, the Colony Horizon sets the standard. Built around a lightweight alloy frame with perfectly sized geometry, it’s made for the youngest riders ready to roll into BMX. Designed for progression, confidence, and—most importantly—fun, the Horizon helps kids build the skills that lead to a lifetime of riding.

Featuring sealed bearings, alloy components, and knurled footpegs, this bike rides as good as it looks. With dialled geometry and durable parts, it’s a true mini BMX built for real BMX kids.

Features
  • Lightweight alloy balance frame. The Colony Horizon frame is alloy with perfectly sized geometry, so the youngest riders can handle it themselves.
  • Knurled footpegs built in. Machined into the frame so kids can get their feet up and coast, which is where real BMX starts.
  • Sealed bearing alloy wheels. 12" sealed hubs with female axles on alloy rims roll smoothly and need less looking after.
  • Low 150mm standover height. Ground to rear stay is 150mm and ground to seat is 250mm, so little legs reach and confidence builds.
  • Quick release seat clamp. The alloy post adjusts without tools, so the seat keeps up as your kid grows.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.
