The Eclat Cortex EVO FC Rear Freecoaster Hub is black, features clutch-style internals, includes two hub guards and axle bolts at both ends, and displays "Cortex" branding on the hub body.

Description

The Cortex EVO is the updated version of Eclat's clutch style freecoaster, with improved bearing durability and a wider choice of slack settings. It runs a 14mm male hollow bore chromoly axle, a 9t driver and 36 hole drilling, on a 6061-T6 alloy shell.

The driver carries two bearings plus a bushing for extra support, and the 3 pin internals are aimed at smoother crankflip tricks. A Viper nylon hub guard and Gong driver guard are included, along with extra slack washers and a driver side cone washer for running without a guard.

Features

14mm male axle, 36 hole. A hardened heat-treated chromoly axle with hollow bore, drilled 36h, so it laces up to a standard BMX rear rim.
9t clutch freecoaster driver. The 3 pin clutch system lets you roll backwards without pedalling and is set up to make crankflips smoother.
Slack you can adjust. It arrives on the large slack setting with extra washers in the box, so you can dial the gap you like.
Hub guards included. Viper nylon hub guard and Gong driver guard come with it, plus a cone washer if you run without them.
Sealed bearings throughout. A 7905 and a 6002 in the shell with two 6802 in the driver, so grit stays out through wet winters.
