Description

Like the Cortex Freecoaster, the Eclat Cortex front hub was designed for the streets. It uses the same proven narrow flange spacing as the Eclat Dynamic front hub, which gives better spoke clearance when you are grinding.

It comes out of the box with two nylon fibreglass hubguards that are long lasting and replaceable. The 6061-T6 alloy shell runs two sealed bearings on a 4130 chromoly female axle with 3/8 inch thread, and the longer 35mm bolts suit plastic pegs and make for a stronger female bolt setup.

Features

Two hubguards included. It ships with two nylon fibreglass hubguards that last well and are replaceable when you finally wear them through.
Narrow flange spacing. The same narrow flange spacing as the Dynamic front hub gives better spoke clearance when you grind.
Longer 35mm bolts. A longer 35mm bolt takes plastic pegs and makes for a stronger female bolt setup.
Chromoly female axle. A 4130 chromoly female axle with 3/8 inch thread, and an allen key inner axle for easy maintenance.
Two sealed bearings. Two sealed bearings keep the grit out of a 302g, 36 hole street hub.
