Description

The Eclat Seismic front hub is based on the popular Cortex front hub, with a shell shape that matches the Seismic cassette so you can build a wheelset that looks the part front and rear. It runs a refined 6061-T6 alloy shell on a 4130 chromoly female axle with 3/8 inch thread, two sealed bearings and 36 hole drilling.

It comes out of the box with oversize hub bearings and two nylon fibreglass hubguards, plus a longer 35mm bolt for plastic pegs and a stronger female bolt setup. The narrow flange keeps spoke clearance when you are grinding, the inner axle takes an allen key for easy maintenance, and the whole hub weighs 302g.

Features

Matches the Seismic cassette. The shell shape is made to match the Seismic cassette hub, so your front and rear wheels look like a set.
Two hubguards in the box. Nylon fibreglass hubguards on both sides are included, so the hub is ready to grind straight away.
Longer 35mm axle bolt. The longer bolt suits plastic pegs and gives a stronger female bolt setup at the axle.
3/8 inch chromoly female axle. A 4130 chromoly female axle runs 100mm locknut to locknut, and the inner axle takes an allen key for easy maintenance.
Narrow flange, 36 hole. The narrow flange gives better spoke clearance when grinding, and the hub is drilled 36h at 302 grams.
