Fox's chart for the Rampage family (Rampage, Rampage Comp, Rampage Pro Carbon). It fits like a moto helmet: expect a snug, encompassing feel.

Size	Head circumference	Notes
XS	53–54cm	20.9–21.3"
S	55–56cm	21.7–22"
M	57–58cm	22.4–22.8"
L	59–60cm	23.2–23.6"
XL	61–62cm	24–24.4"
XXL	63–64cm	24.8–25.2"

Fox's ranges leave 1cm gaps between sizes: if you land in a gap, take the larger size.

How to measure

Wrap a soft tape measure around the widest part of your head, about 2.5cm above your eyebrows and just above your ears. Keep it level and snug but not tight, and read the number in centimetres.

No tape measure? Use a piece of string or a shoelace, mark where it meets, then measure the string against a ruler.

Between two sizes? Most helmet brands recommend the larger size and using the thicker set of pads. A helmet should feel snug all round with no pressure points, and shouldn't rock when you shake your head.
