The Madera Gulf Coaster hub is built by Profile in the good old USA and uses the same freecoaster / cassette technology as the Profile ZCoaster hub. The Gulf Coaster is set up to work like a cassette hub until you disengage it turning it into a freecoatser. This makes the hub more durable as well as opens up some tricks that may require pedal pressure that you can't really do with a normal freecoaster hub. The Gulf Coaster comes in black, RHD, with a 14mm axle and 90 degree slack set up only.

Features

Built by Profile in the USA. Made in the USA by Profile, using the same freecoaster and cassette technology as the Profile ZCoaster hub.
Cassette until you disengage it. The Gulf Coaster runs like a cassette hub until you disengage it, at which point it becomes a freecoaster.
Handles pedal pressure tricks. That setup opens up tricks needing pedal pressure that you cannot really do on a normal freecoaster.
More durable by design. Running as a cassette until you need the coaster makes the hub more durable.
