Description

This HSX frame is the aluminium version of the extremely popular Meybo carbon HSX that mimics the geometry and specifications of its more expensive sibling, with only a very small weight penalty. So small that when built, the difference would be negligible. And the 2026 series of frames brings a colour range to suit all appetites. With matching SD carbon forks.

Did you now that 2026 is the Year of the Cruiser? With a local world champs, give yourself the best chance by building a big rig based on one of these HSX frames. Available in two sizes, this 23 inch frame and slightly shorter 22 inch frame, you tall folks can build matching bikes for 2026!

Sitting around half the price of the carbon frame, the Meybo HSX alloy frame doesn't sacrifice in the way of features. Manufactured from 6061 T-6 multiple butted hydroformed tubing and utilising the same fixed dropout system and flat mount disc caliper set up, it brings to the gate the same simplistic design that has seen the HSX series become popular on the UCI circuit. And not just favoured buy the Dutch, riders all over the world appreciate the ease at which gearing changes can happen.

We love these Meybo frames here at LUX for their simple clean graphics that state perfectly their no nonsense approach to winning. Touches like full internal cable (hose) routing makes building these frames up child's play. Plus it looks so clean! Make no mistake though, the HSX range has all the attributes of dialled geometry, stiffness and proven on the track performance.

Believe us, the aluminium HSX frame isn't the poor cousin of the carbon frame, it's an astute choice for the racer that will likely put the savings towards other key performance components such as carbon fibre rims and Onyx hubs to build a top shelf BMX race bike capable of competing at the highest level of BMX.

The 2026 HSX alloy frame could be the smartest choice when building a high end race rig as the savings over its carbon cousin can be dropped on a wheel upgrade. And after building a number of HSX race bikes for customers over the past few years, you'll be pleasantly surprised by how quickly, and easily these frames build up.
