Description

The Onyx Pro HG is a bolt-on rear hub made in the USA to the tightest tolerances on the planet. It runs sprag internals rather than pawls, which gives strength, extremely low rolling resistance and infinite points of engagement with silent instant pick up.

The shell is 7075 aluminium, the bearings are ceramic hybrid and the bolts are titanium. Pre-load is adjustable, it takes Shimano HG style cogs (cog not included) and it weighs 416 grams (14.7oz) without a cog. Onyx back it with a 5 year limited warranty.

Features

Infinite points of engagement. Sprag internals engage instantly and silently, so there is no dead spot between loading the pedals and driving forward.
Ceramic hybrid bearings. Ceramic hybrid bearings give extremely low rolling resistance, so more of what you put in ends up at the tyre.
Takes Shimano HG cogs. It runs Shimano HG style cogs, which are easy to source and swap, though the cog is not included.
416 grams without a cog. A 7075 aluminium shell and titanium bolts keep it to 416 grams (14.7oz) before you fit a cog.
Made in the USA. Built to very tight tolerances in the USA with adjustable pre-load and a 5 year limited warranty behind it.
