Description

If your little ones are itching for two wheels then look no further: these little Tricksters are a great beginners bike. Wide tyres, a coaster brake for skids and some sweet colourways.

The frame, fork and bars are hi-tensile steel, with an alloy front load stem, alloy single wall rims on 3/8" alloy hubs, and resin platform pedals. A single steel crankset runs a 28T sprocket through a KMC chain to a 16T freewheel, and the BMX style seat with rails sits on a steel post with an alloy clamp.

  • Made for first time riders. A 12" bike for little ones itching to get on two wheels, set up simply so they can just ride.
  • Coaster brake for sick skids. Back pedal to stop, with a front calliper and alloy short reach lever there as well.
  • Wide 12 x 2.25 tyres. The extra width gives more grip and a steadier feel while the balancing is still being learnt.
  • Hi-tensile steel frame and fork. A steel frame with a matching tapered fork and steel bars, on a 1 1/8" loose ball headset.
  • Alloy rims, hubs and stem. Single wall 20H alloy rims on 3/8" alloy hubs with 14g spokes, and a 4 bolt alloy front load stem.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.

  • They should be able to stand over the top tube with both feet flat on the ground.
