Description

Thanks to Dia-Compe's A-headset, the Redneck shed its shaft in 1995 and has been a clamp on ever since. For a brief window some forks ran a 1 inch threaded headset with a clamp on stem: Hoffman built the Super Fork and S&M built the Stupid Fork.

This is the stem for it, back for a limited time. The .950 inch bore is cut to fit the Stupid Fork, the body and cap are CNC machined from 6061 T-6 aluminium and anodised, and it is 100% made in the USA with high quality hardware.

Features
  • .950 inch bore. The bore is machined to fit the S&M Stupid Fork, so check what fork you are running before you order.
  • CNC machined 6061 T-6. Body and cap are cut from 6061 T-6 aluminium and then anodised, so the finish lasts as long as the shape.
  • 53mm reach. A 53mm reach sets your cockpit length, with high quality hardware doing the clamping.
  • Run it either way up. Rise is 5mm as it comes, or flip it for 27mm inverted, so you get two bar heights from one stem.
  • Made in the USA. S&M are building the original clamp on Stupid Fork Redneck again for a limited time, machined at home in the USA.
