The Salt EX is a straightforward replacement fork, and this is the version with 990 mounts, so you can keep a front brake on the bike. The offset is short at 28mm for a solid all round feel, and there is clearance for a 2.40" tyre.

The legs are hydroformed with an improved tapered blade design that brings the weight down, and the two piece butted chromoly steerer has been redesigned for strength with an M24 steel top bolt. The brake version also gets a special hollow topcap so the front brake cable can pass through.
