Description

Skyway started out as a machine shop in Van Nuys, California, then shifted focus to the new sport of BMX when the Tuff Wheel became reality and cemented the brand in BMX history. The Street Beat was Skyway's first complete BMX freestyle bike and broke new ground in innovation, strength and style, and it is back as a replica frame kit: a modern version of the classic original.

The kit is full 4130 chromoly right through, with a 21" top tube frame, an adjustable rear end with a welded coaster brake mount, a U-brake fork and an EZ twin top tube handlebar, plus a Skyway embossed seat. It is ready for a set of genuine Skyway Tuff Wheels and the rest of your parts.

  • 21 inch top tube, classic lines. A modern version of the Street Beat, the first complete freestyle bike Skyway ever made.
  • Adjustable 13.75 to 14.5 inch rear end. 10mm dropouts with a welded coaster brake mount let you set the back wheel where you want it.
  • Brake mounts front and rear. Seat stay 990 mounts on the frame and U-brake mounts on the fork, with gyro tab mounts on the frame (tabs sold separately).
  • Integrated 1-1/8 head tube. It runs an integrated headset with a 46mm outside diameter, so detanglers with an inside diameter under 46mm will not fit.
