These little rippers are designed for having a blast and being decked out to the max with loads of Rant parts makes these an absolute treat for young shredders!

Given that Balance Bikes are helping kids learn to ride at younger ages we added the Altus 14 to our lineup! This bike bridges the gap between 12” Balance Bike and a 16” as your little ripper is growing. Don’t think that this is just a kid’s bike! The Subrosa Altus 14” is packed full of parts from The Shadow Conspiracy and Rant just like our pro-level bikes.

Features

Fills the gap after balance bikes. Subrosa built the Altus 14 to bridge a 12 inch balance bike and a 16, so a little ripper can keep riding while they grow.
Real BMX parts, kid sized. Packed with Rant and Shadow Conspiracy parts, the same brands that go on the pro-level bikes, just scaled down.
Low 6.0″ standover. A 14.5″ top tube, 10.2″ chainstay and 8.5″ bottom bracket height keep the bike short and easy to get on and off.
Mini lever, linear brakes. Linear brakes on welded mounts with a mini alloy 2 finger lever, sized so small hands can actually pull it in.
Rant Squad wheels and tyres. Rant Squad 28H alloy rims on a 14mm semi sealed 9T cassette rear hub, wrapped in Rant Squad 2.20 tyres.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.
