Back by popular demand, the Wethepeople Prime Drive 12 Inch Bike prime has arrived in full drivetrain form! The prime drivetrain uses super slim tubing and lightweight alloy cranks, making the complete bike feather weight, high quality and perfectly suited for the younger rider. As always, this scaled-down 12-inch shredding machine is built with Wethepeople’s legendary attention to detail and quality.

About the Brand
Wethepeople BMX began making its mark on history almost 15 years ago. Designing the first rough drawings of their frames and forks around the same time as the world started to see BMX in a different light, a time when rails were first grinded and the possibility that riding the streets was in fact the true way forward. To achieve their aims, Wethepeople knows exactly how to deploy their strengths with an efficiency that is unmatched in the BMX industry.

Features
  • Feather weight 12 inch complete. Super slim tubing and lightweight alloy cranks keep the Prime Drive down to 6.93kg, light enough for a young rider to throw around.
  • Shorter 92mm alloy cranks. Scaled to small legs, with a forged 3-piece alloy crank spinning on a sealed BSA bottom bracket.
  • Front and rear brakes. An alloy calliper up front and a Salt AM alloy V-brake at the rear, both run from alloy Salt Prime levers.
  • New 12 inch Salt Tracer tyres. 2.0" tyres front and rear on single wall Salt Beam rims, sized specifically for the smallest wheels.
  • Full Salt parts kit. Semi-sealed cassette rear hub with a 10T driver, 25T alloy sprocket, Wethepeople Prime combo seat and a 12.5" top tube.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.
