Description

The Kink Roaster is designed to be a child’s first BMX bike. Its 12” wheels and frame make it just the right size for children to feel completely comfortable on their first pedaling bike. This bike factors in standard BMX geometry and adapts them to a child’s needs. The Roaster also features a coaster brake in lieu of a lever-based brake system, that could be too difficult for some children to use at a young age. The Digital Orange color really pops and adds to the fun ride.

Features

A child's first pedalling bike. 12" wheels and a 12" frame make the Roaster the right size for a kid to feel completely comfortable pedalling on their own.
Coaster brake, no lever needed. Pedal backwards to stop, which suits young children who can find a lever based brake too hard to use.
BMX geometry, scaled to a child. A 12.5" top tube, 9.25" chainstay, 74° head tube angle and 5.5" standover, standard BMX numbers adapted to a child's needs.
Hi-Ten frame and Lance fork. Hi-Ten steel throughout with 92mm forged one piece cranks and Mission Tracker 12x2.25" tyres, all up 7.7 kg.
Cockpit built for little hands. Kink T500 5" bars, a 30mm Mission frontload stem, Micro grips and a Weider combo seat, finished in Digital Orange.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.
